Forms a deep, smoothly curved trough for wide, high-capacity belts, with the load shared across five staggered rollers and a smaller change of angle at each roller junction.
Where it's used
Suited to wide, high-capacity conveyors. Splitting the trough across five rollers reduces the change of angle at each roller junction compared with a deep three-roller trough, easing the flexing of the belt carcass. The staggered layout lets the rollers sit closer together across the belt and closes the gaps at the junctions, which matters mainly on very thin belts.
