Impact Bed

Cushions lump impact under loading and transfer chutes and keeps the belt sealed against the skirting, in garland, impact bar and roller, and slider bed designs.

Impact Bed

Where it's used

Installed under loading and transfer chutes, where lumps strike the belt hardest and the skirting seals its edges against spillage.

Bed designs

Garland idler bed

Suspended garlands swing under each lump strike and take up its energy through their own movement, for low wear and minimal belt damage. Modular sections join end to end for longer loading zones.

Impact bar and roller bed

Impact bars under the skirts seal the belt edges, and rollers carry the heavily loaded centre of the belt free of sliding wear. Extra-thick high-impact rings cover the rollers, and keeper plates lock them in place.

Impact bar slider bed

High impact absorption at low belt deflection keeps the belt flat against the skirting and spillage to a minimum. Lead-in and lead-out rollers line the bed up with the belt line.
