Idler rolls are manufactured completely out of composite materials to provide
Superior wear resistance
Low weight
Superior corrosion protection
All components are injection molded (not extruded) to high tolerance standards.
These rolls are ideally suited to weigh class idlers as they do not require balancing.
Rolls are available in various options
HDPE - High Density Polyethelene
Nylon
HDPE is used in cost sensitive low risk applications. HDPE rolls can be supplied
with Glass-Fiber Reinforced cores for use in Medium to Heavy Duty applications.
Cores are interlocked with the shell (dovetail) and provide improved rigidity and
dimensional stability.
Nylon rolls are used in applications
where superior wear resistance is required. Nylon rolls can be manufactured to comply
with industry Flame retardant (V-0) and antistatic specifications. To date HDPE
products cannot be manufactured to comply with these specifications.
